Zach has been working with animals for two and a half years, and he cherishes each and every moment. Zach became a member of the CAH family in order to further his promising career in the veterinary field. Zach especially values the experience he has gained at Centreville Animal Hospital because he plans to become an LVT and then a DVM. He owns an adorable pug named Katie, and she is a little ball of energy. She keeps him busy playing fetch, going on walks, and having doggy play dates with her. When not at work, Zach is fond of going to the range, spending time with his friends and family, and playing baseball, football, and MotoGP.

She knows how pets bring so much joy into people’s lives and how very rewarding it is to help them and their families. Before joining the CAH care team, Heidi worked at an emergency animal hospital for three years. She came to CAH to gain a new perspective on veterinary medicine. Outside of work and school, Heidi loves trail riding horses through Clifton, crafting with friends, and traveling.

Hi there! My name is Melissa, and caring for animals is a huge source of happiness in my life. I currently have one dog (Boomer) and four guinea pigs (Bon-Bon, Oreo, Twix, and Butterfinger). If you’re anything like me, your pets are your babies. I believe in treating animals with the same level of love and care as you would a child. My house is always full of furry children, and I adore all of them. I also spend many hours loving on my boyfriend’s darling felines, Bernard and Phizz.
I have two prior degrees, and I am going back to school for my Master’s in Education because I also love people children. However, the furry children will always be my first love!

Eric Conroy, PHR
Eric P Conroy joined our CAH family as our new Personnel Manager in November 2012. Previously, he headed up the HR Department for a special events start-up at the U.S. House of Representatives. He received his Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification in May 2003 and is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt. In addition to his professional career, Eric has a passion for cooking, golfing, and spending time with his son. While his family currently does not include a pet, he has always had a soft spot for Pugs.
Soxx is an endearing member of the Centreville Animal hospital team. He joined out practice in 2011. As it is with many pets, he adopted us. One early Spring morning in 2011 he showed his cute little face to our morning crew. He appreciated our verbal greetings and offerings of food, but did not want to be handled right away. With a little time, coaxing and more food we found that he has a delightful HUGE purr. While he does not get billed for his healthcare (or indoor boarding stays during inclement weather), he happily completes his job of being the morning greeter to employees and clients, and for the most part, appreciates the cuddles he gets when swooped up by someone who needs some "kitty snuggle time." He is a smart boy who understands the exact length of all lead ropes attached to dogs - he manages to stay just out of reach. He has a few favorite napping spots - one of which is in the shade of the bushes in the garden on the left side of the hospital's front door. Look for him there.
